Bryan Senti

Bryan Senti is a BAFTA-winning Colombian-Cuban American composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose work seamlessly bridges contemporary classical music with the folk and indigenous traditions of Latin America. A classically trained violinist who began playing at the age of three, Senti studied composition at Carnegie Mellon and Yale University.

While acclaimed for his genre-blending solo work, Senti has also built a distinctive career as a film and television composer. He made his debut with Michael Almereyda’s Experimenter (Sundance 2015), which marked the beginning of a bold and versatile trajectory. In 2021, he scored the BAFTA-winning series Save Me, alongside frequent collaborator Dustin O’Halloran, establishing himself as a major voice in contemporary screen music. His subsequent projects include the BBC musical series Mood (2023) – for which he received the BAFTA Award for Original Music – and the Apple TV+ series Cowboy Cartel (2024). His scores are characterized by their emotional clarity and innovative integration of acoustic textures, electronics, and folkloric elements.

Parallel to his screen work, Senti continues to explore post-classical sound worlds through his solo albums. His debut, Manu (Naïve, 2022), reimagines the violin as a global instrument, weaving the musical heritage of Colombia and Cuba into Western classical forms. Manu – A Visual Album, directed by Alexandra Cuesta, was an official selection at the International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam 2023, and The Manu Remix featured collaborations with Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Toumani Diabaté, Ian Chang, and more. Notable collaborations also include various projects such as “Carbon Life” with Mark Ronson, performed by the Royal Ballet, and “Pleasure Tour” with Canadian singer Feist.

Currently based in Italy, Bryan Senti’s fourth album La Marea released on October 10, as the composer continues to expand the boundaries of contemporary classical and screen music, crafting a sonic language that is both personal and universally resonant.

Bryan Senti is represented by Grande Ourse, in collaboration with U.S. agency Evolution Music Partners in EMEA (excluding the UK).
