Directed by Cédric Balaguier, LOUVES follows the French women’s judo team over an entire Olympiad. Between international competitions, intensive training courses and ruthless selection, only seven female judokas earn their place to represent France at the Paris 2024 Games. The documentary explores the pain, sweat but also the passion and freedom of these athletes, symbols of a generation in search of excellence and recognition.
