Jean-Paul Salomé‘s L’Affaire Bojarski is out now in theaters.

Reda Kateb, Sara Giraudeau, Pierre Lottin, and Bastien Bouillon bring to life the story of the hunt for France’s most notorious counterfeiter, Ceslaw Jan Bojarski.

For this film, Mathieu Lamboley wrote the score with a modern and innovative approach, drawing from concrete music. The score is centered around sounds of machines and banknote printing presses.

The repetitive aesthetic blends with the that of film noir, with a haunting theme performed on alto and soprano saxophones and string quartet.
