Paris, 1899. Céleste, a cancan dancer in a Montmartre cabaret, desperately tries to find the brother and sister from whom she was violently separated as a child, when their father was murdered before their eyes. To pay Léon, the inspector in charge of finding them, she has no choice but to dance nude. Céleste thus becomes the first striptease performer in Paris, causing a scandal quite against her will. From show to show, as she gains confidence, a new life opens up to her. But the demons of her past keep catching up.
Matteo Locasciulli writes the music in the atmosphere of late 19th-century Paris, with the original score for the series Montmartre, created for TF1 by Brigitte Bémol and Julien Simonet.
Matteo is represented by Grande Ourse talent agency.
